Anthony L SmithAnthony L. Smith, a versatile songwriter, producer and arranger, has achieved success in Country, Pop, R&B, and Jazz. Smith's hits include, "When Love Cries," by Donna Summer, "Watch This," by Clay Walker, "What About Now," by Lonestar, "Love Happens Like That," by Neal McCoy, and "Jimmy's Got A Girlfriend," by The Wilkinsons. His film credits include, Almost An Angel, Earth Force, and Graveyard Shift. Artists including Trent Tomlinson, Regina Belle, Reba McIntire, Vince Gill, Jo Dee Messina, , Rio Grand, Kirk Whalum, Suzy Bogguss, Kenny Rogers, John & Audrey Wiggins, Julie Reeves and Anita Cochran have also recorded his songs.

 

Jake Mathews

Jake MathewsJake Mathews was born and raised in the northern town of Sudbury Ontario. He was surrounded by country music from an early age and began his musical career at the age of 14 when he started singing and playing guitar. By the age of eighteen he found himself in bands performing in clubs throughout Ontario for the next several years. In 1996, feeling it was time for a change, Jake decided to move West to Calgary Alberta where he met Nashville songwriter Rick Beresford (“If Drinkin’ Don’t Kill Me�/George Jones) and was bitten by the songwriting bug. Since then Jake has been making regular trips to Nashville writing with some of it’s best writers including Red Lane, Byron Hill, Roger Cook, Odie Blackmon and many others. Jake is also a successful artist in Canada with 2 albums released and numerous top 20 singles. Over the past few years he has been nominated for several Canadian Country Music Awards including Rising Star, Male Artist and Producer of the Year. In 2004, Jake’s album Time After Time which he co-produced and co-wrote 4 of the tracks was voted Best Country Album by Country Music News. Jake is thrilled to be continuing is musical journey as part of the Grand & Gee Music Group family.

Brad and Marylynne Stella

The StellasMarylynne Stella was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario. Surrounded by music her entire life with her father supporting a large family playing professionally, it was natural that she should follow the same path. Marylynne began performing at a very young age and graduated to playing the club scene and hotel/casino circuit with the most respected musicians in the area.

Brad Stella was born and raised in Whitby, Ontario. He also has been performing his entire life. As a bassist, he and his drumming brother were the backbone of a heavy funk band and played many years with a dedicated fan base. Brad went on to a solo career focussing his attention on writing and playing guitar with a more sensitive approach to music.

Gil Grand

Gil GrandIn 1997 Gil moved to Nashville and began co-writing with many of Nashville's finest such as Byron Hill, Kostas, Melba Montgomery, Dickie Lee, Gary Nicholson, Odie Blackmon and many more.. He soon began to see some activity with cuts like " On again Off again" for Tracy Byrd, " Love Trip" for Jerry Kilgore as well as several cuts on his own Sony Monument Records debut album. Gil Grand has received numerous industry awards and acknowledgments particularly in 2003 when he received 5 Canadian Country Music Award nominations. "Cry a Little" a song he co-wrote with Odie Blackmon has become one of his signature songs. For more than a decade now Gil has managed a steady stream of activity with his songwriting and now looks forward to writing for Grand & Gee Music Group in Nashville TN.

Randy Gee

Randy Gee Randy is a singer-songwriter who hails from Fort St.John BC Canada. He has a genuine appreciation for country music and the art of songwriting. Randy can often be found on stage performing his original compositions with his band Deere John. Randy Gee is the co- founder and CEO of Grand & Gee Music Group. He is an experienced and talented artist and guitar player as well as a key member of our songwriting staff.
